The smartphone giant, Samsung recently announced the launch of new device in their Galaxy Tab range, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. As the name says it is the lighter version of Galaxy Tab 3.
The device has many of the features match with Galaxy Tab 3 while others are removed. Though the pricing is not yet officially revealed yet but it is going to be for the mid-price range segment with a more portable and slimmer design.
Tab 3 Lite boasts a WSVGA 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixel. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM. There are no signs of front camera so video calling would be difficult, but it has a rear facing 2 megapixel camera. There would be inbuilt memory of 8GB with expandable memory upto 32GB with MicroSD slot.
The battery is slightly weaker, 3,600 mAh as compared to that of Tab 3 which has 4,000 mAh battery. The device would be running on Android 4.2 (Jellybean). Also the phone supports 3G with a sim slot.
